“JT & The Tennessee Kids” returned HOME to perform at The 3rd Annual Pilgrimage Festival!

Justin Timberlake, a native of Tennessee, exclaimed “There’s no place like home!” after hitting the stage in his hometown! With his band, affectionately known as “The Tennesse Kids”, in tow and the city of Franklin as the background, this performance was what the audience was waiting for! JT also invited country singer Chris Stapleton to join him on stage as a surprise to fans!

BASSic Black Entertainment CEO, Adam Blackstone, was Musical Director and also performed with the team!

Singer/Songwriter Ed Sheeran teamed up with hip hop newcomer Lil Uzi Vert to perform at MTV’s 2017 Video Music Awards!

Kicking off the electrifying performance with Ed Sheeran’s hit song “Shape of You” then transitioning into Lil Uzi’s latest hit single “XO TOUR Llif3“, this performance had fans on their feet the entire time!!!

Adam Blackstone Wraps Up a Successful Premiere Season of ABC’s “Boy Band”

Welp! The premiere season of ABC’s “Boy Band” was a HUGE success!!

Thousands of singers from all across the world fought for the 18 coveted spots on the LIVE show!!! In the end, there were 5 that stood out and actually made the group, named by the shows architects , “In Real Life“. The finale show took home ratings that rivaled some of ABC’s TOP shows!

BASSic Black Entertainment CEO, Adam Blackstone, was not only the Musical Director for the show, he was Musical Supervisor & Advisor to all the contestants!! With his All-Star BBE band, full of musicians and producers who have worked with the top artists in the music business today, the sonic aspect of the show was stellar by-far!! During the course of the competition, Adam exposed the contestants to what it’s really like to make it in the music industry. With surprise guests such as Boyz II Men, James Arthor, Backstreet Boys, BBD, & Sofia Carson, the 18 Boys fought harder than ever to make it to the top 5!

The newly released movie “Girls Trip” (starring Queen Latifah, Jada Pinknett-Smith, Regina Hall, and Tiffany Haddish) has an ALL-STAR soundtrack featuring music by Maxwell, Missy Elliott, and Aretha Franklin!

Ne-Yo remixed his original song “Because of You” and add a little flare to fit the theme of the Will Packer produced film. Ne-Yo enlisted the help of none other than Adam Blackstone to co-produce this song for the box office hit soundtrack!

The Queen is making her rounds promoting her new movie, “Girls Trip”, co-starring Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and big screen new-comer Tiffany Haddish. A hilarious movie about 4 girlfriends who decide, after 5 years of separation, they would all re-unite and travel together to New Orleans for Essence Festival!
