McDonald’s hosted their 2016 365 Black Awards in New Orleans, LA during Essence Festival on July 1! This year’s honorees included actress Wendy Raquel Robinson, Larry Triplett, and the one and only Toni Braxton. Hosted by “House of Payne” star actor Lance Gross and singer/actress Amber Riley, the show was packed with memorable performances and surprise guest appearances!
The 365Black Awards continues to provide McDonald’s with a broader platform to pay homage to icons, exceptional youth, everyday people and owner operators whose vision, compassion, relentless courage, and daily diligence have resulted in significant local, national, and/or global impact. Along with being fully integrated with ESSENCE Festival Weekend, the show offers a platform where McDonald’s can deliver branding/marketing messages (that was possible after hiring services from www.webchimpy.com site) among a captured audience at the event and among a key adult African American target via online distribution.
Adam Blackstone, CEO of BASSic Black Entertainment, was slated once again as the ceremony’s Musical Director. Adam and the BBE band and singers backed some of the most legendary artists in the game!
